Vision
Visual impairments that meet the CRA’s specific criteria.
What is considered?
Vision eligibility has specific criteria. An appropriate medical practitioner must certify the impairment and the relevant information.
There is more to the review
The duration, frequency and degree of restriction are important. Where the marked restriction criteria apply, the CRA generally considers inability or taking three times longer to do the activity, all or almost all of the time, with restrictions lasting or expected to last at least 12 continuous months. Specific rules vary by category.
A qualified medical practitioner must certify the relevant information. Our initial check does not determine whether you qualify.
